Daily Use

Remember to empty and wash your Reclaim Cup at least twice a day.
Every 6-12 hours for most women works well.

Daily Care for your Reclaim Cup:
Warm water and a mild, unscented, water-based (oil-free) soap.
To Remove:
Hold onto stem and pull gently to remove. If there is a build up of pressure because of the seal slide a finger into the vagina and collapse the cup slightly to allow air in.
Lubricant & Cleaning Help

Silicone Care

Use water as a lubricant as needed when inserting.

Never clean your cup with any of the following:

antibacterial soap, dishwashing soap, hand sanitizer, pre-moistened wipes, rubbing alcohol, scented or fragranced soaps, tea tree oil, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, oil based soap, vinegar, baking soda, castile soap, peppermint soap. Never use a silicone based lubricant.

When to Remove

Menstrual Cups are not a form of birth control and should be removed before intercourse
All of the Reclaim Cups are made from Medical Grade Silicone which is non absorbent and odor free.
Reclaim Cups are plastic-free, Latex-free, BPA-free. Our cups are made in China and are independently tested to meet FDA and stringent international requirements for safety by SGS.

Between Cycles - Store your Reclaim Cup in a breathable material such as cloth pouch


Sanitizing Your Cup - Option 1

Boiled Water

Washing you reusable menstrual cup with boiling water

Rinse cup under running water
Boil water for at least 3 minutes
Place your menstrual up in the pot of boiling water.
Let sit for 2-3 minutes
Remove from water and air dry

Sanitizing Your Cup - Option 2

Microwave

Washing you reusable menstrual cup in a microwave
Rinse cup under running water
Place your menstrual up in a silicone washing cup or microwave safe cup or bowl
Fill with tap water
Microwave 1 ½ minutes on high in a 1200 watt microwave or higher (adjust time as needed)
Let sit for 2-3 minutes
Remove from water and air dry
