Size the Diaper
Snap the rise before attempting to change the little. Use the chart above as a guide, but know that how you snap a diaper is up to you. Find the right combination for a good fit based on if your baby is long and lean or has a bit of chub.
Align the Diaper
Cloth Diapers align lower in the back than disposable diapers. Place the baby in the prefered changing position for your little.
· On their back
· Onhands and knees
· Running like their tail is on fire
Close the Waist & Check the Legs
Snap or use the Hook & Loop to secure the diaper around the littles waist.
The diaper should be loose enough to slip 2 fingers in the front. Point any appendage that could spray pee down into the aborbancy (away from the bellybutton). If the rise is snapped up push fold up.
Legs and back should be snug. It is not uncommon for their to be some indentation or light discoloration from the elastic on the legs. The indentation should not be red, purple. deep or inflamed.
